all filer I know from f2xx are 4U height made for standard 19'' racks the only real difference is the length of the head, little less than f7xx serie filer
i have a f540 here with a "mettalic" look if i remember well, f520 was not looking metalik but was in plastik blue dark u will have to watch out for the power switch button : there is one in the front of the machine and it is easy to switch it by mistake as it appear as raised from the cover
