Yup... it's an add on. Given growing security concerns as a whole, it is a shame that NetApp doesn't just include it with the standard OS.
Until 20 September 2000, there is no way for NetApp to integrate SSH support into OnTap without paying gawdawful licensing fees to either DataFellows or RSA, Inc.
I suspect that the price of the ssh module will decrease significantly once the RSA patent expires and OpenSSL/OpenSSH become fair game for vendors.
