We need to replicate the definitions for all cifs shares of files from a particular volume to our DR filer.
For the moment I'm probably going to manually copy all the relevant lines from etc/cifsconfig_share.cfg on the production filer and paste it into the corresponding file on the DR filer, but I'm a little concerned by occasional groups of 6-8 rows of hash marks / pound signs (#) I see scattered throughout the file.
Does anyone know what these represent? I was thinking maybe onTAP deletes old shares by replacing their relevant lines in cifsconfig_share.cfg with #s, but that seems like an ugly way to achieve the goal.
