Hello,
If you force a failover the other system can be up in as little as 30 seconds, the more NFS and CIFS exports you have adds a little time.
If the system detects a failure it seems to add 15-20 seconds to give the other system a chance to recover before takeover.
Of course it also takes 30+ seconds to giveback.
