be sure to add the drives to /etc/qual_devices on the filer which should get rid of the "qualify" error you see.

I formated my 73Gig at 520 bytes / sector using segate utiliy , but i still have qualify error when the netapp starts , it zeros the disk , but it will shutdown in 72H
I tried to update qual_device file , but it ignores my changes , and still crying about the qualify problem .
the drive i try to put in is : ST373307FC , when i grep in disk_fw dir i see that it macth few firmwares : Binary file X234_SCHT6036F10.NA05.LOD matches Binary file X235_SCHT6073F10.NA05.LOD matches Binary file X236_SCHT6146F10.NA05.LOD matches Binary file X270_SCHT6036F10.NA05.LOD matches Binary file X272_SCHT6073F10.NA05.LOD matches Binary file X274_SCHT6146F10.NA05.LOD matches
i guess that it is compatible .
