Hi Dan,
Nope, regular power points work just fine (240V/10A, 110V/20A etc).
The F760 Hardware Guide (downloadable from NOW) has the power consumption for the filer head, and the hardware guide for your shelves (FC7, FC8, DS14 or whatever) has the consumption for the shelves.
I always recommend connecting one of each PSU for each component to a different circuit, preferably through a UPS.
AFAIK Sun E6500 is the same, consult your Sun rep for the exact spec's but I'm certain I have seen a couple of them running fine on normal mains power here (Australia).
regards,
Alan.

I am being asked some questions about our F760s by a hosting provider and I was unsure what the answers. Do they need 30amp or 50amp circuits and what is the phase for these circuits. Also, I need to find out that info for Sun E6500s so you get an extra bonus if you know that answer too.
Thanks Dan
