I've already done that... I've tried adding it into my hosts file and my hosts.equiv file as well. I have the user that I'm running the service as mapped to root in my usermap.cfg like so...
domain_name\username root
This is the way that all the rest of the users are set up and they all work.
Anybody have any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem. If anybody has any input I'd like to hear it as well.
Thx

I have just installed the eval copy of CarrierScan on one of my win2000 servers, it installs successfully but fails to register with the Filer.
Has
anyone running CarrierScan encountered a problem like this?
