Every time the filer is rebooted. the snmp values for disk changes. This affects our mrtg monitoring.
I'm a cricket user myself, which is where its map commands come in (targets are defined based on a value within the table, not the index). Would suggest you check mrtg archives for how people have dealt w/ interface indexes, as this is the same type of problem.
