Hello to all,
We have a HP-UX 11.11 server running Oracle 9i on a filer with 6.4.1
We get nfs hangs and nfsstat -c shows connectionoriented timeouts, badcalls and badxids
We had problem with Oracle 9iis Apache web server because the log file was nfs mounted and this caused connnectionless oriented errors which were fixed.
We have this on a gige directly connected between the filer and server, and we have another server that runs oracle 8 without any problems.
These are all Gig Ethernet nas_e4 <--> public nas_e5 <--> oracle9i nas_e10 <--> oracle8
When we get the nfs hang, commands like ls will show the files, but ls -l hangs, also bdf hangs.
We have a escalation call to NetApp on this, and have run perfstat and pkkt and have not found anything obvious yet. We have also gone through all the suggestions in the two white papers on Oacle , HP-UX and the filer.
Suggestions???
