AW: [SPAM] in-line tape copy possible ?

Hello,

we scheduled 2 backup task at the same time - original backup and the copy. so all date for the copy is already in the cache and you get 2 tapes in the same time you need for one backup

Hello, I haven't checked with Netapp yet, but would anyone here know if it is possible to have a ndmp backup going to two tape drives , thus creating a duplicate copy ?

I have a dual port HBA for the tape drive(s) on a FAS3040 head with DOT 7.2.2. The drives are IBM LTO3s and the backup software is NetBackup version 6.0MP4.

I would like to add a second tape drive on the the HBA and do the in-line tape copy rather then duplicating the data at a later time.
