thanks a lot...i created the netgroup as i did with other filers but sadly i won't work.
In my /etc/exports i have an entry like the following:
/vol/root -sec=sys,rw=@adm,root=@adm,nosuid
"Won't work" is a little ambiguous. Does the line give an error? Does the filesystem export in any way, or is just the root bit that isn't working?
In the past rw=<netgroup> was fine while root=<netgroup> was not. I believe that changed at some point, but I'm not certain when.
