I believe the following option Options autosupport.support.transport is set to http Change that to smtp and make sure your mailhost accepts messages from the filer and relays out to autosupport@netapp.com

Its trying to send an ASUP with a disk firmware needed update alert..and cant.
It could be that the ASUP was generated after the upgrade, but before the firmware was upgraded...and therefore there is no problem.

i see this on an old netapp
but the os is new (i reinstalled it) with last disk firwares around
