: I would like to see the "ypset" command added
In a forthcoming update release for 5.3, there is a new option to allow you to specify the list of NIS servers the filer should try to use (or "*" to use the old broadcast method). This obviates most of the need for ypset.
In the next major functionality release, the family of yp commands are moved out of "rc_toggle_basic" into the main OnTap command set.
As an engineer, I'm not allowed to suggest any dates for these releases.
