As some1 just explained it to me, ndmpcopy is much less efficient than snapmirror, because snapmirror only transfers the blocks that have been changed. So if you have a WAN with 2 sites and you wanna synchronize data between them for disaster prevention, then ndmpcopy become prohibitive on a fair size volumes ( say, 500GB and higher ). Please correct me if something above doesn't make sense.
