Do yourself a favor, mount the "vol1" on a host someplace as root/Administrator. Then do an "upgrade" to vol1. This will simply put the needed files in place. Then do the following on your current filer:
vol offline vol1 halt --> physically remove vol1 and attach it to the new filer -->boot up the new filer with disks attached --> boot from from floppy for this release --> when you get to the 1-5 menu, choose #5, Maintenance Mode. --> now issue the following: vol online vol1 vol rename vol1 vol0 vol options vol0 root reboot (Without the floppies)
