I am an Attorney & consult to Lt Robert Guei Jr., first son and former Chief Security Officer to the late General Robert Guei, the late Ivorien Head of State. My client, who is now on trial for various offences including human rights violations he was alleged to have committed during the rule of his late father. Before his detention he had been able to use his status as the Chief Security Officer to move the sum of US$10 Million as sundry funds to the European Union, and presently deposited in a private Security Company for safe keeping. These boxes of money were airfreighted as Artefacts and photographic materials.
My client, because of his present predicament in detention cannot be physically involved in the management of this money. Hence he will do this by way of proxy and fiduciary agent in order to avoid any probe by the present government in Ivory Coast as they have already frozen all his account overseas.
