Here is the shell config that finally worked for me with a straight through cable:

We are trying to attach our netapp db9 console ports to a cisco as2509-rj async rj45 lines, but are having no luck. The cisco h/w configuration documentation has a diagram for the db9 to rj45 pinout, but it does not work. Has anyone done this?
