I'm upgrading FAS3050C to FAS3170A I know of the following tasks: 1- same version ONTAP on old and new controllers 2- disk reassign ownership form old_sysid to new_sysid 3- mailbox destroy local 4- mailbox destroy partner 5- lun serial numbers to be change to what they were before the upgrade 6- software install ONTAP for FAS3170 after upgrade 7- license add 8- edit /etc/rc file for networking ports to correspond to new ports e0c to e4a example.
Is there something that i'm missing or any other gotcha's that i can avoid.
