I have a 760 running 6.3.1 firmware 2.8_a2 and I have connected a working Sun DLT7000 with active termination LDV SE, and when I try to boot I get a Mailbox timeout, followed by a Timeout! which repeats. Any ideas? It works fine with out the tape drive, and I have tried 3 identical drives with the same error.
