Sample outputs? (Please help!)

Could some nice souls send me outputs from running "sysconfig; df; ifconfig -a"? If you're feeling very nice, "sysconfig -v;df;ifconfig -a;exportfs;cifs shares;vol status"? And if it has a partner, run the same commands against the partner? I'm trying to fix some perl scripts which keep breaking, so I can finish a customer implementation. Anything would help, but ideally im looking for __partner pairs, vifs and trunks__ and any weird config's you can think of. Feel free to obfuscate the files if you need, such as change IP addresses to another subnet... however, I won't use them for any purpose but testing. Thanks! We are performing this exact process at our site. We actually do our Windows 2000 automated server loads from our filer using a boot floppy. Are you using a standard type of boot floppy created using Microsoft's Network Disk Creation utility that gets loaded with NT Server 4.0? As long as you specify the WINS servers (and the filers have WINS entries) in the protocol.ini, you should be able to map drives straight away. Are you able to get on the network at all with your floppy? Are you authenticating to the domain? Hello guru's We have several workstations which we want to take ghost image of, and store it on the filer, but when i try to access the filer from a boot floppy I'am not able to access the filer. I have tried to map network drive to a unix and ntfs style volume but nothing helps. I have changed the user rights for the volume, but it did not help. I can map network drives to other nt servers we have, but not to the filer. Is it possible to do this on a filer? I hope somebody can help me out here. Quantum ATL M1500 LTO Drives?

Check the NOW site and it is not listed as supported library. Currently looking into the M1500 LTO Drives for a few systems. Has anybody got any success in implementing this library for the filer? Nic

Yes, the only other thing is the NIC card. You can add a hot standby NIC on each filer, or you can configure the cluster to share each existing NIC card in failover situations. But you don't need any other software. Ontap needs only to be licensed for clustering. Hi Paul, If you go to http://www.netapp.com/solutions/data_protection.html and look at the choices on the left-hand side of the screen, click on FC SAN solution it'll take you to the page that gives you all the information about the SAN solution with the Brocade switch. Can two arbitrary F740s be clustered together, or must they have been bought that way (i.e., two "F740c"s). I just inherited a second system and am considering turning it and my existing system into a clustered setup. -ste

You will also need a second fibre channel FC-AL card for each head so you can daisy chain to your shelves as well as the partners shelves. So you will need; Cluster kit which includes the cards, cables and software for each head. Second LRC's for each shelf (FC9 or FC8) FC-AL card for each head. And of course someone who knows what they are doing to integrate it all.
