The "transparent" option was added in MRTG 2.7.1 (according to
the CHANGES file in the latest version of MRTG). The version
of MRTG included in the NOW download package (which combines
MRTG with some Filer-specific configuration things) is older than that,
so that explains why it doesn't recognize "transparent".
Regarding the disk usage problem, I just tried the NOW version of
MRTG with the latest version of ONTAP, and didn't see any problem with
the disk usage. Please send me additional details on your setup (exact
version of ONTAP, any customizations you've made to the MRTG package), and
I'll look into it further.
