Yes, for some of these high critical firmware issues, 4 weeks until the next P release can be tough.
Also, you cannot update all customers immediately to the next P-release once available, some customers have stricter rules and only one maintenance window for software updates a year.
I’m trying to find a way to always have the latest available disk firmware in one place which will then serve as the url-to-go for disk firmware updates throughout my installed base.
In the past, I’ve manually downloaded the all*zip files regularly and I’m trying to find a way that can be better automated which ideally also notifies me of new firmware updates then.
Our storage management software can then (on staging, development, etc. boxes) also automatically install the new qual_devices and all*.zip files to test them there.

Are you including “P” releases in that assessment? The general GA release might not have it but if an issue is ID’ed in the month before a “P” release comes out it’s been my understanding that those FW updates
should roll up to the next “P” release — i.e. 9.5 -> 9.5P4
