I think it was very clearly stated early on that this domain far pre-dated the existence of the political effort of the same name. I have no problem with it. Isn’t the content what matters most?

Thanks,

I’m not responding as an official NetApp spokesperson here, but as a UK resident that works for the US part of NetApp and hence understands a little about the US and its politics. I’d say that the name is fine if you replace whatever overtones it has currently for you with the wonderful Alice in Wonderland and the March Hare’s Tea Party.  There, time stood still and it was always 6.00pm and “Tea time!”

With which, here’s hoping the questions on the toaster’s new home are a little easier to answer than the Hare’s mad-as-a-hatter “Why is a raven like a writing desk?”

Would have been a good idea to talk about that before he actually did the move, don’t you think?

I appreciate that the fellow at teaparty.net for hosting this.

That being said it sends a political message that isn't intended for the NetApp community.  I know its not related, but by looking at the url, external folks wouldn't know that.

Would it be possible to host this on google groups instead of moving from one boutique mailing list hosting service to another?  Just a thought.

Brian
