Oh come now - it's not rude if you, y'know, don't know what that means, don't care about anyone's opinion but your own, and were raised in a barn. Perspective!

I have an *awesome* idea - why don't the people making this suggestion (and all the "+1's" that think this is reddit) unsubscribe, and go establish a NetApp Google group?

We wouldn't want to offend anybody, after all.

I don’t care whether the list is at teaparty.net or Google groups, but I do think it’s a bit rude to request the list to be moved again to Google groups when the host gave us notice that it would be moving to teaparty.net.

Once the notice came out the list was moving that would have been the time to request it be hosted elsewhere not after all the time and effort went into migrating it.

Would have been a good idea to talk about that before he actually did the move, don’t you think?

I appreciate that the fellow at teaparty.net for hosting this.

That being said it sends a political message that isn't intended for the NetApp community.  I know its not related, but by looking at the url, external folks wouldn't know that.

Would it be possible to host this on google groups instead of moving from one boutique mailing list hosting service to another?  Just a thought.
