Subject: Can you change the SID of a local NetApp account?
Greetings,

We have a 9.3 environment, including Metro Cluster if it matter, and there are 6 SVMs in the environment.

If we create a local account named toolmap on SVM1 and SVM2, they will have a unique ID on each SVM.  We would like to make the SID for the toolmap account the same on all the SVMs.  Is there a way to change that after they have been created?

The purpose of this is to prevent having to walk all the file systems and change user access if we had to move a file system to a different SVM.

Thanks,

Jeff
