Hi,

don't know about the config check tool, but I just unpacked my second 2240 in the last two weeks, both shipped with 8.1.2 without any patchlevel and for whatever reason (maybe I missed that change in one of the release notes), the root volume and all newly created volumes do not have the create_ucode option set automatically anymore, so that's one thing you need to watch out for I guess.
