reallocate -A is almost never the correct thing to do (it doesn't reallocate all of the volumes in the aggregate, it reallocates the aggregate itself). Generally, you'll want to use reallocate -f on each FlexVol to get the results you want.
However, blocks that are participating in A-SIS cannot be reallocated, not by any variation of the options.
That said, as the data is changed over time, Data ONTAP will redistribute the load by itself.
If you have very static data (WORM-ish), or if you have an acute performance issue you're trying to alleviate by increasing spindle count, please give NGS a call and we can discuss your options.

From what I’ve read a volume level reallocate ignores deduped blocks and we have very high (60%+) dedup levels so a lot of blocks would be left as is. I am wondering if an aggr level reallocate would still move them or not.
