Concerning the failure to unload tapes on a DLT7000.  I have a number of DLT7000 and DLT8000 libraries connected to Filers.  I use Legato Networker and it requires setting high timeouts for eject sleep, unload sleep, mount sleep, etc., to work properly.  The total for timeouts can be up to 5 minutes

Don,

Netbackup 3.4 on solaris says not.

04/03/2002 16:14:17 netback dtoal1  backup of client dtoal1 exited with status 154 (storage
                   unit characteristics mismatched to request)

Speaking of netapp backups with netbackup,
I've been trying to figure out why a dlt7000 fails
to unload a tape, occasionally.  Anyone else seen
this?  No symptoms, no errors logged, but the next
backup of the netapp fails because "storage unit is
unavailable".
