Hi,
sure, this is it (just changed the password):
"%PROGRAMFILES%\NetApp\SV-SMVI\sv-smvi.exe" -svuser root -svpasswd password
The file (sv-smvi.exe) exists in this directory and when I call it manually f.ex. (outside of the VSC post-script environment), it looks like this:
C:\Program Files\NetApp\SV-SMVI>sv-smvi.exe -svuser root -svpasswd password -verbose -debug
runExit(): -----------------------------------------------------
runExit(): Exiting with return code: 0
C:\Program Files\NetApp\SV-SMVI>

Hey,
does anyone have experience with the sv-smvi script which can be used to support SnapVault in VSC Backups?
I’m having some troubles with getting it running at all, no matter what I do, it always just exits with return code 0, even when I use the –verbose or –debug switches, it also does not write report files.
Even if I’m giving it wrong user/password combinations, it still only exits with return code 0 and that’s about it then.
Thanks,
Alexander Griesser
