Does anyone know of a good tool that would scan a cifs share for meta data and possibly put the information in a database that can be queried for Creator Owner Information.
For example, the netapp “quota report” command shows a user owns 100GB and 5000 files. I would like to give said user a list of the 5000 files and their sizes.
Alternatively, a less sophisticated too that accomplishes the same result that is better than a power shell script that could scan for this information for single user or as needed. In the past I have gathered this information to a text file with a power shell script and it was very messy and certainly less then optimal.
