To further that point, MS doesn’t
support Dynamic Disks on iSCSI.
SnapDrive makes a call to expand the LUN
on the filer, then calls the VDS\LDM service to expand the partition. You can use
diskpart to do this manually as well. This works well with Basic Disks and
SnapDrive doesn’t support Dynamic Disks either.

Unless something has
changed, I do not think SnapDrive supports Dynamic disks...only Basic
(like I said though, this may have changed somewhere in 4.x or even 5.0)
