I would prefer a straight mailing-list
for ergonomical and personnal reasons
I really don't like web forums, a MUA
gives you a unique and centralized
software to manage all the mailing-lists
you subscribe using filters and imap folders. Web forums have each a different ergonomy , are often slow, you need to authenticate on EACH
and so on ...

Well ... I prefer email :-)

Spam is NOT a problem if your brain
works well isn't it folks ?

If there really is a hosting problem I
could host the list here no problem
with the domainname you want as
long as it is available.

My two cents of Euro

My 5c worth.

My experience of Google Groups has not been good.  It would appear to me that Google Group mail often gets blocked.  I gave up and used Groupspaces.com.     Looks like Teaparty.net is working just fine.

Is anyone interested in a google circle instead?

I agree wholeheartedly. This belongs on a service that is totally unconnected to any political, religious, or philosophical agenda.

I appreciate that the fellow at teaparty.net for hosting this.

That being said it sends a political message that isn't intended for the NetApp community.  I know its not related, but by looking at the url, external folks wouldn't know that.

Would it be possible to host this on google groups instead of moving from one boutique mailing list hosting service to another?  Just a thought.
