Hi.

Why don’t you check the „Filers view“?

exportfs -c <host>[:<host>] <path> [[ro|rw|root] [secflavor]]

Hello there,

are you sure that the host is accessing the filer with the IP address you specified? The host seems to have two IP addresses in the 155 range - are the netmasks correct for that?

What does the routing table look like on the AIX box? `netstat -rn`

Also, could it be that the nfso tunables are different on these two hosts? Check with `nfso -l`

Another thing that comes to my mind: What do the mountpoint permissions look like on both hosts? Are you trying to write to the filesystem with root permissions?

Can you post the output of `mount | grep drv33` from both AIX machines, please?

Bye,

Alexander Griesser

Betreff: two aix hosts, one works (rwx) one does not (ro)

two aix (same level) hosts,

both can mount /vol/drv33

however the host go2l30s3 can not touch the mounted vol (ie no wx

permissions) (even explicitly added the ip of this host to exports)

the host iocuso01 can do rwx

storage is gonfs01.domain.com (155.13.224.102)

exports is /vol/drv33

-sec=sys,rw,root=iocuso01.domain.com:go2uso01.domain.com:155.13.20.54:go2l30p8.domain.com

networking for both hosts is as follows
