Have pulled out all the ram, still the same black screen

I would start with the obvious.

RAM.

I don’t recall the configuration in there, been a LONG time, but remove half of it (if you can) or Ebay it..its gotta be cheap by now.

After it report some recoverable error in the ECC SRAM for about 3 days. I try to reboot but It stuck at the boot. The LCD show the top half fill with Black box. I have try to remove all the PCI card and ram for reboot with the same result. Any ideal what is the cause for this, faulty CPU / mother board or any other? Was hoping to fire it up for enough time to retrieve all the file in the system and decommission the unit. Any suggestion to retrieve the file?
