You need an LVD/SE (LVD supports 25 foot, while SE is much shorter...about .5-1ft) converter. If you check CDW or other online shops, you'll find an HVD to LVD/SE converter that will do the trick... However, it isn't a supported configuration. HVD is +-12V, LVD is +-7V, and SE is +-5V....most SCSI Adapters that are LVD also support SE.Thank you,

Subject: Re: Adic FastStore DLTHello All,Thanks your all of your help. The problem is that the DLT drive is and SE interface while the F760 is a Fast Wide Differential interface. Now for the next question. How would I get this thing to work with my F760. Is there another card I can buy for the Net App?ThanksBlake----- Original Message -----From: Steve RocheTo: 'Blake Folgner'Sent: Wednesday, May 01, 2002 1:10 PMSubject: RE: Adic FastStore DLTCheck to see if you Autoloader has a single ended SCSI interface. The F7XX Series Filers shipped out of the box with a Fast Wide Differential interface.Connecting that to a SE interface will hang the Filer.Seen it many times in the past.

Subject: Adic FastStore DLTHello,I'm trying to get my Adic FastStore 22 tape autoloader to work with my F760 i'm running 6.2.1. I set the loaders SCSI ID to 0 and the drive to 1 and I have also tried other combinations also, keeping in mind that the SCSI card in the F760 uses ID 7. When I boot the filer up it just hangs after it checks the memory. If I unplug the autoloader it boots up with no problems. The autoloader is terminated and all connections are good. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks for your help.Blake
