Please check out following bug report:

The enterprise OID is not properly encoded for many SNMP traps

Several SNMP traps are sent with an improperly encoded enterprise OID, which
may result in errors being reported by SNMP trap daemons when those traps are
received.  In all such instances, the improperly encoded enterprise OID is the
network appliance OID.

Subject: Mrtg for filers on a FAS940 with 6.4.3

Hi,

We have three filers - an F87, an F760 and a new FAS940. Up until the arrival of the FAS940 I have found MRTG for filers easy to use and set-up when adding new equipment. However, with the 940 it seems that the SNMP messages MRTG sends do not work. Has anyone been able to configure the tool for use with this ontap version and filer model?

Best regards

Simon
