You'll want to test the ability for the Compaq system to
maintain NFS sessions across reboots and failover events (if you need
failover). This is pretty important for databases and application that
require continuous access to their data files. On several notable Unix
operating systems used as NFS servers, you will create stale file handles on the
client systems upon a reboot of the NFS server. It may be worth noting
that network attached storage is a pretty new business for Compaq, and it is
definitely not their major focus.

year.
