We went from F760c systems to F940c systems and have been completely satisfied.  During the migration we pushed more than 12K ops/sec (mainly snapmirror) and the system was still very usable.

I haven't seen 10k nfsops/s, but 8k in average over hours +snapmirror
and stuff is possible at a F9XX. Looks like 10k (and more?) should be
possible.
