_IF_ this is possible at all, then you will need aggregate snapshots on the underlying aggregate. And although I never did something like that, I think the only way to do that is to restore an aggregate snapshot on a different filer or on a fresh set of disks, bring it online, bring the volume in question online and access the snapshot there. That will of course only give you access to the data in the snapshot, I highly doubt that it’s possible to reintegrate it without data loss.
But I might be wrong on this one.
