You may also want to check the support matrix. If you are running snapdrive, I think you need to be at 6.4.2 or later.. Forgot that one.

Just my 2 cents.. Not sure if it is written in the doc, but when you do a fail over to the partner, and you have FC type luns, wait at least 10 minutes before failing back over.  Also, we usually update the firmware on the disk/shelves prior.  Stop all snapmirrors or just turn it off so nothing is in transit during maintenance.  I make a copy of the /ETC for safe keeping, and if you have CIFS, I usually export my shares..  We follow to doc and are usually good with the upgrades.
