This is always a big discussion. You have always
lovers of a separate boot volume; and there are very good reasons for. But we
always use our root volume (vol0 in most cases) for other data (and have more
disks in our root volume).
Very important is that you must be certain that you
have enough space on the volume (but that is of course the case of all your
volumes). Another problem can be if you use snapmirror of that volume. This is
possible, but you must good think about this.
