Hi all,

I resolved the issue configuring IRIX SGI as described in BUGID 92741 (NOW).

So the users file-based mailboxes with NFSv3 are working well. This deployment involves:

SGI IRIX 6.5.22

Filer F820 6.5.1R1

NFSv3: filer:/vol/vol1/indy /var/mail nfs rw 0 0 tcp

Hi all,

I mounted on Filer the users mailbox, and when a user requests her/him mailbox, it is locked (hang) and ipop3d process appears awaiting and adding.(/usr/mail/*.lock & *.lock.1106.....)

The server SGI is acting as SMTP and POP3 server mounting Filer NFS V3

/etc/fstab on SGI

filer:/vol/vol1/indy /filer nfs rw 0 0

filer:/vol/vol1/indy /var/mail nfs rw 0 0

Any comment would be appreciated.
