Have a GF940 & 3020v cluster hooked up to Hitachi 9585V’s and works a treat. Just make SURE you stay within that compatibility matrix:

ONTAP version

FC Switch Firmware (different requirements for back-end than host connectivity!)

Hitachi/EVA Firmware

 

What’s nice is how quickly disks zero, what’s not nice is when the back-end tech accidently blows away the LUNs you’re operating on.
