Steve,

The motherboards slide out with a screw and pull-tab, individually.  You should be able to do a takeover on the other node, and pull the board out with the other system halted (or in ready-for-giveback).

Subject: non disruptive HBA card installation on FAS3170 possible?

Hi folks,

I kind of doubt that this is possible since our FAS3170 pair
is in the same physical box and the power supplies are shared
by both controllers, etc.  If I am wrong, then how do you
do it?  Power down one controller with the RLM ?  Then how
do you install the HBA without disrupting the other controller?
