There is no way to add FilerView back into 8.1.  The JVM was not included in ONTAP 8.1.

For 7-mode, System Manager 2.0 is the only tool available.  In Cluster-mode, you can do an http://<cluster management LIF> and get to an GUI implementation of the CLI.  This is the same as the advanced tab in System Manager.
