I’m just starting 1.6.2 install, looking to take a peek at the analytics piece myself.
We run RHEL here, but I’ll let you know if I run into any issues or see what you’re describing.

I was recently trying to install XCP 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 on CentOS 7.8 but keep getting error related to “central” user password mismatch while configuring its Analytics part. NetApp support kept saying to try this on RHEL 8 but we don’t have
RHEL8 in our environment. Any of you faced same behavior with XCP Analytics install?

Manish

It’s also officially supported by NetApp now as of version 1.5. That means you can call in for help and development is actively ongoing.

Thanks brother. I did find it, and realize that I was really just being a knucklehead of enormous proportions.

While email attachments are a popular and convenient way to send documents, they are also a common source of viruses. Use caution when opening attachments,
even if they appear to have been sent by someone you know.

Yup. I was missing something obvious. D’oh!
Given the current state of things here in the good ‘ole USA, I consider my oversight entirely understandable, since my mind really hasn’t been straight since 09/11/2016, and things really got, distracting shall we say, last week.

I can no longer find the executable. Searches only deliver support requests or documentation links.
Links such as:
https://mysupport.netapp.com/products/p/xcp.html, redirect to
https://mysupport.netapp.com/site/downloads, where it’s nowhere to be found.
Yes, I could renew my license. But while searching just to see if the installation files for SMB or the tarball was current, I came up empty.
Am I missing something obvious?
