Yes, they should, on the other hand if you munge the
cable ( anyone ever bent a few pins on a SCSI cable?? )
it'd be a bit easier to come up with a replacement DB9
cable.

If you are making such a large investment deploying netapp boxes, shouldn't
the people who are going to admin it know the difference between serial
and FCAL? (:
