Yes you can dump to a file as in the first example below.
You can also dump and pipe it straight into restore, the
second example.
fsr-c14>rsh filer15 dump 0f - /vol/vol0 > ./dumpfile.dmp
fsr-c14> rsh filer15 dump 0fb - 63 /vol/vol0/etc | rsh 10.60.192.40 restore rfD - /myvol
