Quick and simple answer --  The AFF systems and ONTAP takes care of it all for you.- most of the settings you need are on by default.

Hi,

I'm pretty sure this discussion has happened here in the past, but as I migrate our data from spinning disks to AFFs, do I really need to enable a scheduled background dedupe any longer?  Will inline compression and dedupe provide all the space savings possible?
