Issues are similiar with ee versus standard...get the white paper at http://www.netapp.com/tech_library which gives details for setting this up. Very important, use Gigabit when connecting between the Filer and server (either crossover or switched if multiple connections).

Subject: Oracle and Netapp
We are considering licensing Oracle8ise (the standard edition, not
Oracle8iee) for a limited database application.
We are not familiar with running a database manager while maintaining
the database on an NFS server, but gather that quite a number of people
that subscribe to toasters are using Oracle with NetApp servers.
Should we anticipate any problems with this edition of Oracle running on
a Sun Solaris system while the data is stored on an F740 running
5.3.4R2?
Thanks.
